Manuscripti are one of the country's leading experts in book, document, and map scanning. Once scanned, our technicians can digitally 'restore' the item, manually removing all the damage using specialist graphical software until it looks as good as new.
In addition to scanning and digital restoration, we provide a diversity of applications for your new digital files, including archiving, printed facsimiles, page turning books, web-ready images for public access, fully hosted web solutions (inc. payment systems), physical preservation and repair of all archival material, and various other interactive or virtual solutions. We can digitally restore files and provide you with a file or printed copy that looks as good as new.

Scanning
Our specialist i2s Digibook scanners are able to scan books, maps, paintings, cloth, and even wood to an extremely high quality. Our special book cradles prevent any pressure on the spine of the book during scanning, the scanner lighting is non-destructive, and the scanner head scans the book without touching - thus avoiding any damage or pressure.
Digital Restoration
Once scanned, we can digitally repair your documents and provide you with a copy that looks brand new. We've digitally repaired photographs, maps, paintings, tapestries, printed text, and handwritten letters.
We'll remove damage, creases, and tape, seamlessly fill in holes and missing areas, eliminate watermarks, foxing, and mould.
